Despite you obvious goals to sell yourself to the company, you will
most likely be asked about your weaknesses during an interview. This doesn’t
necessarily have to be the point where you talk about why you walked out of
your last job saying, “Who’s with me?” Instead, take this opportunity to
display some honesty, since no one is perfect. Pick a weakness such as having
to deal with your old coworkers once you were promoted pass them or how you
may become to focused on a primary goal, ect. Here’s a few key points to
think about in preparing an answer:
- Stay positive, but limit your amount of
“sugarcoating.”
- Use positive examples of your experiences.
- Be honest and show some humility.
- Describe the positive effects of a weakness.
