This is an example of what not to do during an interview. Pay
attention as the headline/ remarks come up throughout the segment. Those who
will interview you will be interested in how you left your last career and
your thoughts about that company. People who tend to speak negatively about
their prior companies where often fired or “let-go” for a reason. Don’t give
a possible employer a negative image of you before you’re even hired. Keep
the following in mind for your interview:
- Don’t refer to your old coworkers
disrespectfully.
- Don’t use sarcasm throughout your interview.
- Don’t mention claims of your deficiencies.
- Don’t blame others for your mistakes. (Passing on the
buck)
